The Tour Wrap Up!!

So I am back home now and had time to think about the the last month, so wanted to do a recap for everybody. I left for tour on December the 2nd and returned on December 23rd, so it was a 21 day tour, we had 15 shows in 7 different states, traveled 4,537 miles in a school bus converted to an rv. We had around 1,500 people see the christmas show and the best fact of all had 115 people accept the gift of Christ into their lives. It was amazing, I made so many new friends across the east coast, and can't wait for the next tour.

6:00 a.m. Tampa Airport

Left for the Tampa airport at 4:45 a.m. this morning did not know that time came more than once in a day. My flight leaves at 7, I fly into Charlotte, then into Nashville. I actually made it through security with out being integregated which is a rarity being that I am carrying every electronic device known to man. Especially my microphone that I use when i speak it is in a hard case, and they always think it is some type of explosive device for some reason. Looking forward to seeing everyone at home have been gone since November 27th. Have a wonderful Christmas, I am planning on it.

Last 2 shows tommorrow!!

I can't belive it is already here the end of my first tour, it seemed like it only started yesterday, I have been in florida for the past few days we had a show Friday in West Palm Beach, today we had off, I stayed in bed for a lot of the day because I was feeling a little under the weather, and was trying to make sure I remained healthy. I am staying at the Smith's house, which is Greg's family the drummer for Among The Thirsty, we went out for a wonderful dinner tonight at outback, and to see the movie "I am a legend." It was good a little weird. Tommorrow we have two shows one at 10:30 am, and another at 7 p.m. then I fly out at 7 a.m. Monday morning from Tampa, Fl to Nashville. I should be arriving home around 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve. After tommorrow, I plan on writing a summary of the tour such as miles driven, different states we have been in, and total number of salvatians so be sure to check back in the next couple of days.

Our show yesterday in New York was cancelled due to the blizzard they were exspecting. So we hung out all day in Scranton, PA and did some much needed Christmas shopping. We went to 2 malls looking for some type of "Office" memorabilia but had no luck. We then headed on into Philadelphia to meet up with my best friend from Kindergarten through High School Danny Williams. He took us to a place called Pinochio's and we all had Cheese Steaks that were out of this world. I stayed with him and his wonderful wife and daugher Gabbie. This morning we went to his church and the band did a preview for tonights concert in both the 9 and 11 am services. We just had the amazing hoagies and are chilling out before we leave to set up for tonight.

It was an amazing show with pyrotechnics, tons of smoke and lights. It was insane. Pastor Brian was so jacked up on Starbucks it was a sight what an awesome guy with an amazing heart. Tommorrow we are suppose to be heading to Saratoga Springs, NY, but we are looking at the weather the high there tommorrow is 21 with a winchell of 1 degree. We are trying to make sure we can get back to our show Sunday in Wallingford, PA, at my buddy Danny Williams church. Tonight we had 10 people receive Christ, that takes us to 91 Salvatians for the tour it is absolutely awesome. We are hoping to be able to go skiing on Tuesday we have the day off in North Carolina, which would be a blast being that the four guys I am with are from Florida. Well it is 2:30, wake up call comes early..talk to you soon.

Been on tour for one week now!!

We left Birminghama, Alabama at 6:30 am Saturday morning after having a show for Clear Branch's Youth group. We arrived in Vandergrift, PA at 1:00 am, thats right. 19 hour later, what an amazing ride. This morning we played a Sunday morning service at a church called The River in New Kensginton, PA. We are staying with a wonderful family called the Shick's. Tonight we are playing in North Apollo, PA. We are hoping people come because today is the big Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots game here in Pittsburgh. Including this morning, we have had 40 people accept "The Gift" of Christ into their lives. It makes the long night and drives so worth it, even if it was just one, but we are seeing so many people come to the realization of how amazing Jesus is and what he did for them.

On Tour-First show under belt

It has been an incredibly busy week Monday, I left Blue Cross. Tuesday-Friday I spent at the Billy Graham training center "The Cove" Saturday we had rehearsal for the tour, and toda was our first show in Thomson, GA. It went pretty good, a few things we are going to fix. We are staying at the Best Western after having an amazing meal at Waffle House, if those words can exist in the same sentence, amazing and Waffle house. Tommorrow we head to Chattanooga for a show then drive straight to Birmingham afterwards. Thats our ride on the left, it is a converted school bus with beds, couch, chairs etc, with all the equipment gets stored in the back, is wonderful but tops out at 60 mph. Can't wait to tell you more about the tour, just added a date on December 15th in New York, never been so pretty excited.
