Tour update!

Tour has been going really well, we have the day off in Nashville today. The weather is incredibly cold and we have seen a lot of snow lately. The most important thing is we have been seeing people coming to know Christ. We have been seeing 5-7 people per night making that decision.

The tour will finish on December 22nd around Tampa, Florida and I will fly home on the 23rd to spend Christmas with my family. We have been blessed on this trip to be traveling in a 40 foot class A RV, instead of a 12 passenger van. It makes long drives almost enjoyable. Because you can get up and use the restroom if need be, fix a sandwich or sit and watch a movie on the 32 inch LCD TV all while sitting on comfy leather couches. It is even being driven for us by Mike Smith's dad. Mike is filling in for Greg the normal drummer for Among the Thirsty after Greg broke his wrist.

God is doing so many amazing things and allowing me to have some unbelievable conversations about future opportunities. I am hoping to be able to share some of those soon. I hope where ever you are you are staying warm. Do something for someone who may not have that luxury.

Me and Marie, met a lady the other day at Bojangles while in North Carolina. Her name was Penny and she had a large camping backpack. Marie wanted to give her a gift card to Bojangles as a gift, so we did, then entered into a conversation to realize she was homeless and it was her birthday. We spent the rest of the afternoon calling and finding places for Penny to stay. And went and got her a birthday present well more of a stocking filled with necessities. It would have been so much easier for us to go on about what we had planned that day. But as you and I strive to be more like Christ, he begins to show us his heart. And caring for the forgotten. I don't share that at all to say look at us, and what we did. We felt honored to be used by God. But I share that to challenge you to look around you. Look for the things that God places right before to help those in need. We are all so blessed, so let's bless others this Christmas Season.
